Rail, Ports and Freight Division coordinates transport policy, strategy, funding and investment initiatives in relation to rail, ports and freight. As part of Queensland Transport, one of the largest state government agencies providing services and infrastructure across Queensland, RPF works to influence positive outcomes for industry, business, communities and people.
The division develops and implements policies, regulations and strategic plans to promote more effective and efficient rail, port and freight systems in Queensland. The division's work supports and progresses internationally competitive freight logistics practices.
