Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority
Function:
The Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority was established in November 2007 under the South East Queensland Water (Restructuring) Act 2007 as part of the Government's institutional reform of urban water supply arrangements in South East Queensland (SEQ). The Authority will own all dams, groundwater infrastructure and water treatment plants in SEQ.
The Treasurer and the Minister for Natural Resources and Water are the Authority's responsible Ministers under the Act.

Function:
The Queensland Bulk Water Supply Authority was established in November 2007 under the South East Queensland Water (Restructuring) Act 2007 as part of the Government's institutional reform of urban water supply arrangements in South East Queensland (SEQ). The Authority will own all major pipelines in SEQ (including the eastern and northern pipeline interconnectors).
The Treasurer and the Minister for Natural Resources and Water are the Authority's responsible Ministers under the Act.

SEQ Water Grid Manager
Function:
The SEQ Water Grid Manager (SEQWGM) was established in May 2008 under the South East Queensland Water (Restructuring) Act 2007 as part of the Government's institutional reform of urban water supply arrangements in South East Queensland (SEQ). The SEQWGM is a non-asset owning entity that will manage contracts with the Bulk Supply and Transport Authorities and the retailers, and manage the flow of water around the SEQ Water Grid allowing for the sharing of costs, effective from 1 July 2008. The SEQWGM will buy the services of the Bulk Supply, Manufactured Water and Bulk Transport Authorities and sell the treated water to retailers, power stations and other customers.
The Treasurer and the Minister for Infrastructure and Planning are the Authority's responsible Ministers under the Act.
