The Policy and Strategic Advice Division of Main Roads fulfils the departmental need for an aggregated, independent centre of strategic and policy expertise that supports the executive and program areas of the department in their primary roles of network planning, delivery and operations. It also provides advice to the Director-General as the chief executive of Main Roads and the chief policy advisor of the Minister for Main Roads and Local Government on these matters.
