The role of the Organisational Positioning & Stakeholder Relations (OP&SR) Group is to undertake a range of high priority strategic projects on behalf of the Director-General and/or the state-wide General Managers and to inform the decisions made by the Senior Management Group (SMG). The group's main objectives are to:

    • embed an externally responsive orientation into Main Roads culture;
    • improve key stakeholder perceptions/views of Main Roads' performance;
    and
    • facilitate strategic alliances with key stakeholders and industry groups to address critical needs and increase the efficiency of resources.

The group consists of Local Government Relations, Stakeholder Relationships & Industry Capacity Divisions
