The Commission

Advocates for Queensland's children and young people;
Handles complaints about services to children and young people in care or detention;
Administers a statewide community visitor program;
Conducts employment screening for child-related employment;
Monitors and reviews laws, policies and practices impacting on children and young people; and
Conducts research into issues which affect children and young people.
