| The Office of the Adult Guardian protects the rights and interests of people with a decision-making disability, advises the community on Powers of Attorney issues, investigates cases of abuse or exploitation and can act as an attorney for health care and other personal matters. The Adult Guardian can also be appointed by the Guardian and Administration Tribunal as guardian to make personal decisions for an adult with impaired capacity. |
